Is there anyone out there young enough to remember Ralph Cramdon’s infamous words to his beloved wife Alice, in “The Honeymooners”? Well, I do, and all you have to be is young at heart to appreciate that wonderful era. At the end of each episode, after getting himself into yet another fine mess, he’d turn to Alice and say, Honey, you’re the greatest!

Nevada Pacific: In the Eye of the Storm

There are times when life throws pipe wrenches at the best laid plans of mice and men. I feel as though I’ve been ducking wrenches, tire irons, screwdrivers and a few wheelbarrows!

For me, this is one of those times because after writing an extensive piece on Nevada Pacific, and putting the usual blood, sweat, tears, and clichés into them, some news came forth from the PDAC Show in Toronto that affected the company. I believe the date of the announcement was Monday, March 6, 2006. After sorting through the unsolicited “intent to acquire all NPG shares scenario” put forth by Mr. Rob McEwen of US Gold Corporation I wanted to share a few thoughts with you before heading back to the original piece I wrote on the company.

Buffalo Gold: There’s a Stampede A’Coming

I’ve changed the title to the recently posted piece: Buffalo Gold “A Home with Gold and Uranium Plays”. While it was certainly true, it just didn’t have that zing to it that I believe the company actually does have. In other words, the title was boring. The story is not! Buffalo does have a great gold play via the Mt. Kare Project. It does have some exciting Uranium plays in Australasia. But I’ve changed the title for my column to better reflect what I think is going to occur with this company due to the efforts of a young and energetic chairman of the board, Damien Reynolds.
