Welcome!
First of all allow me to welcome you to www.seacoast-consulting.com. My name is D. Stewart Armstrong and I’m going to be your host and on occasions, your guide.
Straightaway, I am going to suggest to you that I am not great with web site technology and so you’ll have to bear with me as I, and my small staff, get up to speed. I have published full color magazines in a “past life” so I am not a total neophyte to the world of publishing. We do have some excellent assistance by way of Ian McSorley of Design HQ located in Vancouver, Canada. Secondly, things may change rather rapidly both in content and design as we move forward.
I am reluctant to call this a gold site because we will be addressing a myriad of others topics such as investing, music, animals, the environment and other things that may strike our fancy, and pique our interest on a day-to-day basis. But in truth, the junior mining gold and commodity sector is “our beat” and that is where we have a certain comfort level.
Nevertheless, I would prefer to call this an information and education site with an emphasis on quality junior mining companies, gold, silver, and commodities.
I will also continue to bring to your attention many fine writers and analysts, some of whom may offer contributions to this site. If you review the menu bar you will find a heading titled writers and analysts. It is there you will find a list of some of these incredibly erudite individuals who will assist you in developing your own “investment chops”.
I’ve been writing for Peter Spina’s Goldseek.com for well over three years now, almost on an exclusive basis, and while I shall still continue to write for Goldseek, I thought it was time that I moved out onto my own in order to have more latitude in terms of what I could be discussing with you. I hope to continue to be working with Peter along with other sites such as www.lemetropolecafe.com and www.kitco.com.
I would also like to mention that the advertisers on this site will be chosen very carefully. I have worked with many of them for years and have gotten to know them, their companies, and their projects on a one to one basis. I would go as far as to say that if we do have an advertiser on the site; it would be a de facto endorsement of that company. But the first rule of investing is to perform your own due diligence. I will have more to say on that at a later time, but seacoast-consulting is an idea site. As such, I would strongly urge you read our disclaimer page several times. If you have any questions about it, please contact us by all means.
With all that being said, I once again welcome you and look forward to working with you towards a more prosperous future.
Warm regards,
D. Stewart Armstrong
